Events - Summer 2014
The Commonwealth Baton is passing through Milngavie on
Saturday 19th July 10-10.30 am - come and join in the fun!
Badger Arrives in Milngavie
Badger in Milngavie

Come and meet Badger the Mystical Mutt on the 19th!

Badger the Mystical Mutt is delighted to be visiting Milngavie Book Shop for a reading from his books with author Laura Jackson on the same day as the Commonwealth Baton is passing through town.

The values and themes explored in all of the Badger books are very much in keeping with the spirit of the Commonwealth Games. Badger believes in following dreams and that we can all achieve whatever we want, if we truly believe we can. Badger's favourite sport is flying, and as that's not part of the Games, he can show you how he does it. (Although Health and Safety rules won't allow Badger to actually fly on the day).

Come and meet him live and in 'the fur' for high fives and high paws. For 5 - 9 year olds.

"A fun fast-paced romp of a read for younger readers...terrific stuff!"

Cathy Cassidy
